It is called X River and it is the boat that connects Bibione and Lignano, through a rapid crossing between the enamelled colors of the Tagliamento river. Ten people and as many bicycles will be able to pass for free along one of the least man-made river routes in Europe, and enjoy 17 kilometers of coastline and a potential network of cycle paths that reaches 240 kilometres.

Crossing with X River is really easy: for those starting from Bibione, you set sail at about 1200 meters from the suggestive lighthouse to quickly reach the opposite pier, at the Marina Uno dock in Lignano.
A few minutes, however, give life to a very long coast, all to be covered by bicycle or on foot, thanks to safe paths, which allow for a unique experience between the blue of the sea and the green of the vegetation.

The Tagliamento, despite the large space between the two banks, therefore becomes an element of union between the two beaches of the Upper Adriatic. Thanks to this new pedestrian and cycle path connection, tourists will have easier access to the offers of Bibione and Lignano and will also be able to go on two wheels to discover the hinterland full of charm, history and many excellent food and wine products.

The ferry can carry up to 25 people with bicycles in tow, with trips departing every 40 minutes.
In Bibione, embarkation is just minutes from the Punta Tagliamento Lighthouse while in Lignano it is at the Marina Uno dock.

Cost of the trip: € 1.00 per person (including bike)
Children under 10 years of age ride free, if accompanied by an adult holding a regular ticket.
Tickets can be purchased on board or at authorized retailers, including the Bibione Lighthouse (during opening days and hours).
Reservations are not required.
